19th July 2024
Dear Parents and Carers of St Cuthbert’s,
Thank you so much to all of our families who have contacted school and shared lovely messages of thanks for our staff be it by card, email or letter. This positive feedback really means the world to us and is very much appreciated by everyone.
Thank you for the many and varied school events you have attended this year. There has been a great turn out for everything we have hosted and this has been great for relationship building and developing our strong partnership between home and school. We’ve also managed to raise lots of funds for our school meaning we can carry on with our excellent extended provision in the form of educational trips and residentials. The children get so much out of these experiences and it is so important that we keep them going as part of our curriculum offer.
Good-bye to Year 6
We wish all of our Year 6 children the very best of everything as they leave St Cuthbert’s and move forward on their own journeys into their high schools. We are very proud of them all: their achievements and the wonderful young adults they have become. Each and every single one of them will be greatly missed by us all. We hope they take with them many happy memories of St Cuthbert’s and always remember us fondly as their primary school family, ‘Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one’.
